Is 28 Years Later the biggest trailer misrepresentation to actual film bait and switch since Babylon Zoo’s Spaceman edited for the Levis ad, then the crushing disappointment of hearing the actual song? 🤣😬😑 ---

The Ballad of Wallis Island. Lovely stuff. Very funny, somewhat melancholic, but overall just nice. ---

Yeah I watched that last night too, really lovely I’m just back from the new Jurassic thing. The reviews gave me hope but it really is very average. Seen it all before. I dont know what they are going to come up with for two more films in this new trilogy but they probably shouldn’t bother ---

Back down to Edinburgh for the Film Festival in August to see the first screening of my girlfriends new short film about Orkney, the sea and weather (and the local game called the ba). Friendship. Definitely one for fans of I Think You Should Leave… which I wasn’t totally sold on. Enjoyable in an uncomfortably funny way though. ---

The best part of it (other than too brief appearances by Natasha Lyonne) is the interiors and costumes. Genuinely beautiful. ---

Yeah the design and the imagined world is cool, the film/plot itself was weak IMO. The good thing is that it didn’t go on forever, which in Marvel land is a good surprise. ---
