Given most of records to my youngest after digitising the lot. I’ve kept one box of around 100 LP’s based on ones that are important/ he didn’t show much interest in/still sound sweeter on vinyl.

Alongside the Drexciya 12”…

A handful of Dub LP’s (King Tubby, Dennis Bovell, Prince Far I, Augustus Pablo)
Dr. Alimantado – Best Dressed Chicken In Town
Nils Frahm - All Melody/Tripping with Nils Frahm
Love - Forever Changes
Coil - The Ape of Naples
Carl Craig – Landcruising
Johnny Cash – Johnny Cash At San Quentin (my old man)
Human Egg - Human Egg
African Head Charge - My Life In A Hole In The Ground & Songs Of Praise
The Fall – Perverted By Language
Nancy Sinatra & Lee Hazlewood - Nancy & Lee
Susumu Yokota - Sakura
Niagara – Niagara
Steve Miller Band - Circle of Love
Various – Wattstax (Music From The Wattstax Festival & Film)
Fila Brazillia - Maim That Tune
Fat Man Ridim Section – Wagon Of Dub
Cymande - Cymande
Sun City Girls – Torch Of The Mystics

Amongst others I can’t remember.

A couple that are not albums.

Yes! Had a mate’s tasteful wedding one weekend on a winery. Music wasn’t a huge deal, more background, was more of a social mixer type wedding. But I got everyone wiggling to this in the fields as the sun started to set.

Love how Kon takes this peak time banger and slams the brakes on, giving us a nice early doors groover.

I could listen to the original every day and still not get bored, which is more than I can say for Somebody Else’s Guy.

It is such a tune.
I love the Kon version, the housey Jamie Lewis mix and best of all that old edit of the og on Rack & Ruin

Totally agree.

And thanks for the Kon heads up @neatbeats, wasn’t aware of that.

Just catching up with this. Hits the sweetspot between respecting the original and making a little bit more of it. Thanks!

Oh Jesus, yes. @howler mentioned it years ago as a perfect end of night record and after a solid night out I put it on and it got all the emotions going.
