yesssssss brilliant mix. managed to get a physical copy a few years back.
There’s so many fantastic free ones out there from the mags back in the day as well, one of the most influential for me was Mixmag - The Journey, mixed by Anthony Pappa, so many genres, flawlessly mixed, so good.
Also Circulation - Colours, Lenny Ibizarre - Blissed Out, Touché - Stable Manners, Loco Dice - Minimal Explosion, Zeitgeist - New Directions, so many of these an more influenced me so much, but if you see The Journey, get it!
You can’t go wrong
I am interested!!
reading about Daft Punk/Soma in another thread reminded me to blow the dust off this…
Yep. Loved this, and the last one too
I love how ‘pop’ the Derrick Carter one is, I hunted down quite a few of the tracks (still looking for the 12" of ‘Situation’)
Also, how many mix CDs do you have that feature ‘New Jersey Deep’ either at the end or nearly. I mean, there are a LOT.
Yeah he can always be counted on to follow his muse and he really went in a unique direction on this cd that gives it tons of replay value.
I love that After Hours one. It’s been rinsed over the years in my house.
I always preferred the Ibiza one, but that’s good too. Hale Bopp is ace.
There’s a part two. Golden cover that was really good. Will try find it… Came out some years after. But part 1 is a classic
Yep, still one of my most treasured 12’s.
Was that the red one? never heard the mixed version just got the vinyl. The white one with YBU on was good.
the JDJ one was a favourite back in the day. my first introduction to Dream 2 Science.
Another gem.
