Light Relief

Was this not Chapter 16 of American Psycho?

this saga has it all. It really is a journalist’s wet dream.

*years ago, my team used to distribute press releases (aka spam) to Fleet Street and they would all moan. And I could see why… when you’re hunting scoops on MP expenses, phone hacking or Yewtree, consumer surveys about people’s fave washing machines didn’t twist melons in quite the same way

I saw that a few days ago and couldn’t remember where I’d seen it.

On a similar theme every single word of this is like a laser :boom:

Apparantly it’s likely to be AI ?!
She seems to be suggesting the author doesn’t even exist but his substack has grown since she wrote the article… certainly she presents an argument that has convinced me he probably used AI to ‘help’ at the very least… but then what is real ? This Viral Rant is a Masterclass in Spotting AI Slop - she’s been published by medium… link is to her own blog to avoid paywall.
I should add I’m not on FB so can’t check the source … he’s not cross posted on his Substack by the looks of things https://oliverkornetzke.substack.com/profile/posts.
Not really a ‘light relief’ post - but it relates to a post further up (that I liked at the time) and certainly has me thinking/checking myself

Slightly obscure even by Viz standards but they get the classic house references correct
