I’ve noticed he basically uploads a new edit pack on Bandcamp every week. Doesn’t this guy have to work at all?

At least they replayed, pressed it up and had to physically distribute the stuff… grafters!

DK did this with an edit a mate of mine did.
If you ever stumble across any tacky European cassette comps from the early 90s, with a bad colour inlay and wonky fonts, the chances are it will contain some dodgy remakes of big pop or dance hits from that time, mysterious producers with names like “Kris Isak”. Destined to end up in roadside bars, supermarkets or petrol stations (sometimes still there years later gathering dust). No questions asked… A lot of this stuff is on Discogs so my guess is someone like ZYX hoovered up a lot of the cowboy labels and eventually reached some kind of deal.

To be fair to the guy I’ve gone back and had a deeper listen, I’m sure it’s the Dimitri version he’s used (see 2.56 on both) but he’s shortened the track from about 5:30 onwards to make it a minute shorter than the Dimitri version and & he’s chopped up the outro a bit, so I take back the comment that it’s an untouched re-up, still seems to be a “mild” edit of the (licensed) Dimitri edit without crediting Dimitri.
Anyway good luck to the guy, I’m sure there’s another side to the story and plenty of other folk doing the same kinda thing, I’m just saying what I see from my partial view of it.

I think it’s a good thing to scrutinize these re-works and edits and most things in general.
Do they need to exist? Sometimes?

I’m playing a wedding this weekend and was picking up a few classic house/party bits and saw this. Thought it sounded interesting as it’s meant to be a mix of the songs samples plus the one people know, and have a digi edit of one more time that does that. Got the 7" and to me it sounds more like a bootleg, maybe kick is different, but doesn’t break into the original disco track anywhere. Wild putting it out on 7" and calling it one more time. Happy to have it on a 7" though for £15! ha. makes me feel like i could get away with more.
The B side does mix too versions of the track.

Just starting: Discogs - Black Cock - check the description and read that ‘they became heavily sought after and widely bootlegged’.
I’ve not got any ‘original’ ones. The ones I do have are all 2008/9 one’s off Juno
As an aside I dug out some of the Loft Classics ones. I’d forgotten how good some of the selections are and sound quality is decent

Yes I picked up a couple of those from Rarekind and have had my eye out for more ever since.
I find most of Dominic Dawson’s recent “re-versions” to be quite bland, but his new “dub flex” of Gino Soccio’s Dancer is actually doing something for me on first listen:
