As with most Ween songs, the live versions are almost always leagues better. Not to say the album versions are inferior. Exhibit A from 94’s Chocolate and Cheese album, the tribute to the recently departed Eddie Hazel. I do as well - I’m far from one of the rabid Ween fanboys who I liken to Phish and Grateful Dead fans who make the music their entire personality and I do prefer the more pop end of their output.
