Iā€™m printing this out and hanging it up. Pretty sure he means bad as in good because be played this plenty and is definitely not a man who plays records he doesnā€™t like.

Tom Noble told me he got this collection of records from an old lady who said they belonged to her nephew ā€œTimmyā€ who used to live with her and left the records there when he left. Later he found out it was Timmy Regisford. Heā€™d write all kinds of stuff on records and on the sleeves, and among them Tom found some real gems like Russell Simmonsā€™ phone number. He posted a few on instagram a while back, end of 2018.

Sad thing is he only told me this story after I ran into him at The Lot Radio just after Iā€™d left the store with only this one record out of the collection. If I knew they were his records Iā€™d have definitely grabbed more!

I met him at Cargo around 2005, spliff after the gig. really nice guy. just when bar y thm was taking off, which reaffirmed my love of house music and cowbells. not sure Iā€™d be so into his ibiza sound at dc10 these days, but he got the soully/techy balance spot on in those days.
