That’s fuckin rough. Mad love to all his homies, fam and crew. Long may the music continue. R.I.P
He was so generous in the music he shared, which, sadly, has created a wonderful legacy now. Thank you so much for offering the following (small selection of) beautiful pieces of music, all of which have added so much joy to my life - and all I’ve been able to share them with… Rest in peace and power.
After a fairly expensive afternoon in Red Light Records, a few beers were opened and Jamie announced he would now play records “that weren’t for sale”. First time I heard this:
That’s such a tune. I guess the magic of MFM is that it makes even the most ordinary record buyer feel like a proper digger for a little bit.
Terrible news! His comps truly opened my ears. RIP
Ooooof
Jeez this is so sad, only just come across this news… massive MFM fan here and have upmost respect for the label and Jamie’s work. This one off the Uneven Paths: Deviant Pop comp is a big favourite of mine and will get a spin today
Yes exactly - brilliant. Discogs comments suggest a reissue may be coming soon

Not sure why the preview isn’t coming through, but a GoFundMe has been set up to support Jamie’s family.
I am still in shock about this huge loss. He was such an inspiration for me and by far my fave DJ. I will share more later, but for now this playlist he made on Spotify:
This Italo playlist was made by Jamie as well, he confirmed me when I asked him via Instagram DM
One of many great mixes curated by him…

Jamie & MFM were hugely influential on my listening. Sadly never got to hear him live but never missed all the online mixes and then buy-on-sight MFM records. When we moved flats in 2013 our wifi was Talk_to_the_Sea as we were playing the Gigi reissue nonstop and couldn’t think of anything else to call it.
If you missed the John Gomez NTS tribute to Jamie Tiller I highly recommend listening back to it.
Just catching up on this now. Some lovely tributes
