Is It Balearic? Well is it?

The Ashley Beedle Heavy Disco edit is particularly good. Makes good use of the arpeggiated intro.
I’m not positive but I think it uses Roger Daltrey’s backing vocals and leaves out Townshends lead vocal altogether.

Credit to @Huffy, but I’d not heard this version before, and it’s ace!

Another take on Paradise. Not bad either!

Given some of the things Pnau have been responsible for since, I had half a mind to post this in the ‘Durty Secrets’ thread. But I’ve loved this long time, and I think it has the right soporific vibe:

I totally agree. I had seen them all play solo or in other bands (Tortoise etc) but it wasn’t until I saw the whole group play live in 2008 that my dreams were realised. I got to interview them after their soundcheck - you can read that article here. I just had a look at it and cringed at my writing skills back then, but hey, it is what it is!

i think it’s great! nice job.

As first heard on the Trance Europe Express double cassette. That compilation had held up well over the years.

Can remember thinking it sounded VERY sexy :flushed:.

I can’t help, but think Róisin Murphy must have drawn some inspiration from Billy Ray Martin.
