Just stumbled across this new track - Israeli folk given a sort of organic house production job, but is it Balearic, is it even house, both or neither? Answers on a postcard please:

@TheSlowMusicMovement I was in Tel Aviv recently and I think it’s definitely becoming more Balearic. You hear this sound at the beach bars all the time. It’s a definite shift from some of the harder end of the Red Axes stuff.
Apart from being super expensive, Tel Aviv has got everything you need for the Balearic toolkit: amazing beach facing directly West, surf breaks/surfer vibe, tons of beautiful people, weed is pretty much legal. It’s a very cool place.
Check my pic below for one of the ultimate sunset DJ booth locations. This girl was playing a great and very Balearic set. Then the rocket attack sirens went off (!) and we ran for cover. Tbf she was straight back on the decks when we had the all-clear.
