Shit rapping - tick, this used to be played at whirl -y-gig where all the English students types would go with their cord jackets, limp curtains and gap year beads. They used talk about how at the end everyone would run under a parachute - I’m a tolerant person now but back then, it sounded dreadful.

Same! This U2 track that came a few years later (for me, one of their only stomachable tracks, probably because it’s hardly got any Bono on it) had similar vibes. It’s no Mediate though.

The playlist looks good! I just wasn’t into the drippy girls and dudes who went from our school. We were at that’s how it is and metalheadz and 4 hero nights - it was very “tribal”. I didn’t realise you could like different types of music and people 
Stay faraway so close and Lemon! Achtung Baby has got the funky drummer break all over it and possibly a ton of white stuff - but probably not

I was not in the position to look moonily into a girl called cassandras eyes with Sheila Chandra playing in the background - as someone of mixed race I used to get the hump with the cultural appropriation. I’m much more open minded now. Teenagers can be right bellends!

I never went but I’m surprised how Balearic (as in, features music that could have been played at Amensia or The Future, rather than just “eclectic”) that playlist is
Ah yeah. I mean some of it was really crap - like they would play these bad irish fiddle dance records - but the whole thing was kind of great.
