excellent! Not heard this before. Seems it’s a Fat Freddy’s Drop related thing with Joe Dukie on the vocal.
Just took a look for it on discogs - not cheap!

That’s great, never actually heard anything from them before, but never thought they sounded like that, always had them down as Industrial or hardcore Experimental noise types for some reason so didn’t bother with them.

This is just perfect, the optimism and general wonder in this record is great. According to YouTube comments it’s about smuggling heroin, not very Balearic in spirit but that production and shimmery synth throughout is pure gold.

Yep, there are so many inter changing musicians playing in Bands / jam sessions in Wellington, they just seem to make up an new name depending on the gig / whos playing there was also another freaky Mu/Dallas live offshoot called ‘the Crackhead Experience’, as well as Ian’s (the keys player) techno band called Ebb (with Lisa Tomlins- the female vocalist for Lord Echo)
