I ran a party in Glasgow for a few years in 2 different small venues that hold around 200. Personally, this is my preference as both a punter and a DJ. If you go much bigger, its hard to maintain that synergy between the crowd and the music.

I told myself when I stopped in 2018, that I’d never get back into promoting, but recently I’ve been debating starting something again. Have a couple of even smaller rooms that could be good options, but the whole business is incredibly stressful.

me too. Never thought you could get 100 on a long boat. A mate tried to renovate one, and managed to get it canal ready (we did Uxbridge-Camden) but in the end there were too many issues.
