I used to know Iamelectron many years ago. Amazing DJ. If I could only find his Happy Bottom Riding Club mix again.

Ah that’s sad. So much incredible music made by one human.

What a loss - what a legacy…

I know it’s an edit, but it extends the classic for 12+ minutes

You must’ve been spectacularly clattered because I’ve just heard from the man himself and it was the one @don_milano posted above

hahaha superb [*there deffo was another robo/electro-ish version around that time but I need to research this further]

Yes to the extended ‘let it happen’. a gem. wasn’t so keen on Lindstrom’s take though. felt unnecessary

Wonderful song from the soundtrack that didn’t make the movie:

And this obscure one, very expensive 7" available on discogs.

A couple of great covers of that Odyssey track too.

The Chrisma version is new to me. Love the video too, wow!! What a find.

That was the first version I knew, followed by the Demis. Didn’t know about the Odyssey one till you posted that.

The Chrisma version comes in 2 parts and is :ok_hand:

I can see there’s a lot of copies of the Chrisma 7" in Italy. I did used to buy records from Italy and the best thing was when they would get packed in a pizza box. Don’t know if anyone else has had that but I had it a couple of times. Brilliant. Anyway, definitely after the Chrisma record now, the camp element makes it even more exotic.

Same until Brexit made the postage crazy. It’s definitely worth getting a copy as it’s a great sounding record too.
