Stomu Yamashta-

Now there’s a challenging listen, in my (limited) experience

Noodly (but My Little Friend is funky).

there’s some sort of Traffic connection with Stomu isn’t there? (too lazy to google though)

Stuff from the carboot - a fiver each, all fairly old pressings (John Martyn records are both pink rim)

Really chuffed with the Hugh Mundell, killer record

And slightly off-topic but also this for £30. always seem to be Boss ones when you find guitar pedals at the carboot, this is about the fifth one i’ve found in the last few years, definitely not complaining though… solid as hell, always work no matter how trashed they look

He did an LP with Steve Winwood but I’ve never heard it

Great finds! I almost never find reggae albums at car boots down here

I have -with Winwood and Michael Shrieve if memory serves.

Sounds good on paper but didn’t do much for me. Great cover art though

Next to nothing in my orbit of bootsales and that’s a consistent state of affairs now, really not enhancing my personal collection with strong records. It’s been a decade since I’ve seen any musical hardware of note at any price go out, could fix these up for resale.

I’ve been avoiding traipsing around further north but you seem to have some genuine collections going out there, amazing finds.

Slim pickings at 20p, its a shit business and all that…
Eye Before E has another on that label which is likely the same guys and you’re done on Hammer Records, rare primitive 1990 house sounds. Torch is shilled up shit pop pub rock from South Africa, not the italiodance or slow house grail the fictional sale would suggest, for the bin.

Had to pop into King Bee in MCR before travelling back down south. Always a pleasure and some beauts here.

The Earons 12” :ok_hand:t3:

I also subconsciously confuse Earons and Kissing the Pink ‘Big Man Restless’ and Escape from New York ‘fire in my heart’ which of course are all very different, but the earworm makes no such distinction

I seem to come across sealed copies of the Earons LP that contains Land of Hunger all the time when digging, picked up a couple not long back at a car boot in Norwich. Must have had a huge pressing.

17 sealed copies for sale on Discogs currently, mad for a 41 year old LP…

Good book hall & a deal on 5x
I never usually look at CDs but then saw a bloke had got 2 Soul Jazz ( Dancehall V1 & the New York one ) so found Dancehall 2
