Hauls Found Today

Went back to the same shop yesterday and they had the complete series of The Sopranos on DVD, 30 discs, mint condition on the discs, couple of slight marks on the box, for 50p.

First three £2 each, the rest £1 hauls. Very difficult to find clean classical so will see how this Erik Satie cleans up. I would hold out for a proper copy of Eighties Ladies rather than paying discogs retail, not into bootleg 12’s hoped it was a killer reggae version TBH…Zeitschrift-Ausgabe was to get a full length version of The Blue Nile on the cheap.

Found in a charity shop in Melbourne, never played by the looks of it.

Part of a 4 disc set I owned and trashed over the years, these were only $1 each. Bargain!

Blues, soul, gospel, funk, cajun, folk and zydeco!

Fifty pence or less mostly. Slow start down boot sale surrounded by very keen hoarders blowing £300 and filling many bags with terrible pop rock but ending ok.
Casual Affair has shot into space, on trend or discogs shilling?
Wriggleys bring you ‘Sunshine’ ultra rare Irish disco and there’s a couple of good ones from them. I got the comp for three pounds on ebay, one for the Irish TP club to dig out on a seven.

Just been in a charity shop where they had three boxes of records just brought in, and this was among them … “sorry, those haven’t been priced up yet so not for sale”. :sob: I then earned some retrospective good karma points by telling them what it was worth.

What will happen to this record, perhaps sold online?

I expect so - it was an Oxfam and this one always over priced so no chance it’ll appear again tomorrow for £2!

Two quid each :grinning:

And this (in the kind of condition you’d expect of a 1974 Nigerian LP).

Yeah, Frankenstein on it is such a banger!

Some cool scores from yesterday’s carboots…

^^^ Robert Leiner - Visions of the Past
Beautiful deep techno from 1994, includes the classic Aqua Viva. Three quid.

^^^ A bootleg with four of possibly the greatest ever jungle tunes on it. So good! That was a pound. Probably be looking at two hundred quid plus to get the originals

^^^ Bodymove Productions - The Proprecy EP (sic)
Had no idea what this was and it’s not on discogs either. Turns out it’s a pretty sweet soulful rootsy dub tune with a jungle-ish breakbeat that kicks in halfway through. Does anyone know anything about this at all? Sounds like something Chuggy or the Isle of Jura guy would be into. Will try and stick it on Youtube later. Was also a pound.

I bought that Robert Leiner a couple of weeks ago- £60 though!
More than offset by some very nice scores elsewhere so was kind of free!
