I definitely remember going to Wiggle afterparties at The Plug on Stockwell Road
And then there were a series of afters and dos at some kind of little sporting club (IIRC; crown green bowling or something equally unlikely!) bar right under the final landing approach to Heathrow. ISTR the licensee got kicked out - but over holding fetish parties (noise certainly wasn’t an issue - and the contrast coming out of there into bright daylight and quiet, broken every couple of minutes by jets coming in way too low for comfort right over your head, was a bit much to deal with in a fairly refreshed state…!)

Just remembered a great little spot somewhere by the river; you could see the Thames barrier from it - maybe north woolwich / silvertown way? Two rooms, think they had a spell of doing a few there (may only have been a handful, but definitely remember feeling it was “peak Wiggle” era for me)

An old mate of ours who used to run parties called The Laundry set up and ran The Plug so we were in there getting messy a lot!
We also did regular afters there, as did Wiggle, which then morphed into Liz Edward’s monthly Kerfuffle parties which survived there for a good few years.

I saw you posted this the other day. Had no idea it has been re-issued. As per @ J_C my entry point was the Ambient Dub series (never got the last one as there was a bit of a gap). I do have the original 12 somewhere but playing the Virtual Dreams comp now (excellent sleeve notes from @Piers).
