WOW! Of course it’s expensive as hell, but amazing!

Was this big / played when it came out ( early 90s)
I didnt know it until Sean J played it on his Weatherall Glade tribute mix, now obsessed with it. Its stunning

I don’t think we’ve had any Claudio Simonetti yet, I’m really enjoying this thread by the way!

That cover is amazing

I think it was one that was discovered much later on down the line from the original release date (1988). Tucked away as the second track of the B side. Especially when the A1 and B1 are really pretty poor tracks in comparison, imho. I imagine it sank without a trace at the time. Larry Tee (Laurence Thom), the man behind the track, was also working a lot with RuPaul at the time and, is also apparently responsible for the whole ‘electroclash’ scene of the noughties.

You’re right though, an absolutely killer tune - one of my all-time top 10’s.

Edit - I’ve dug a a bit deeper and it appears there was an album too, but can find no reference to it on Discogs - just this on Youtube - appears Funhouse (the label) ran a very popular local network show out of Atlanta in the 80’s The Funtone USA Museum - The Funtone USA Museum

I’d always imagined them as some moody, 80’s goth-type band
