In 1994 David Brants released a track distinct from the sound of Belgian Hard Trance label Bonzai, on which he released The First Rebirth in 1993 as Jones & Stephenson, one of the biggest European rave anthems. In those early days, the distinction between techno and trance was minimal, often interwoven with ambient sounds.
