not a massive takeover in 25, but I noticed lots of freestyle being played by Boogie djs, and also in 80s wave / proto house sets from trad-house djs:clap:t4:

i was thinking about this recently, i could see a lot of freestyle instrumentals/dubs getting shine. for whatever reason, so many of those songs were full of overly sentimental teenage heartbreak, i feel like that that was one of the few things holding them back from getting replays.
