Balearic Jazz

Jean Luc Ponty doing his jazz violin thing over sequencers and synths should fit the bill here.

There are certain tracks that totally floor you when you first hear them and ‘Computer Incantations’ is right up there for me. I really like ‘Mirage’ too.

Thank you for this, new to me, I know nothing about music apart from what I find.
There was some fresh Fusion/Rock/Jazz type stuff in Hitchin at the weekend including Jean Luc, fingers crossed the right one turns up.

Another one from that era albeit slightly more on a ‘broken’ vibe, this absolute beaut. My fave Ashley Beedle mix.

Not heard this. That’s a beaut.

For fans of PMG, heavy influence here.

Spiritual South were pretty good, remember also seeing them DJ at EC.

First one to pop in my head. I used to see this album in the cheap jazz bins all the time and always ignored it. Big mistake.
