I may be reaching a little here but Is On Golden Pond Balearic? also did 808 State sample the bird on Pacific State, it doesn’t show up on Who Sampled but it sounds like a direct lift to me?

I could totally picture that at La Torre and I remember seeing that film for the first time so I’m allowing it :slight_smile: Plus anything with a Loon bird is basically Balearic by default

I remember an article in Pitchfork or somewhere like that where they did a deep dive on where 808 State got that Loon sample from and I think they concluded it was off a rare disk for the Emulator 2 with library sounds called Wind Chimes & Birds or something to that effect
