Been playing this a bit recently. Not so much house. Second half when pianos kick in is lovely.

That’s ace.

Another one I love that’s not house as such but bpm/vibe is in the zone.

It fits perfectly onto a 4/4 set as well.

aww thanks. I shudder a bit at the cultural appropriation of some of my old edits but it’s fun tune still.

Talking of SR edits, can you say what is the original source of Slowdown?

And is Umut 2000 named after the one in Dalston or Green Lanes. I would suspect Dalston but important to clear up.

Slow Down is basically an original track. I didn’t make it but I think it initially sampled ‘Dirty Laundry’ by Don Henley and then the sample was replayed.

Umut 2000 is after the Dalston one. Bloody love that place!

I’m sure Slow Down uses some drum/percussion samples from an old Drum Punch LP. Can’t remember the guys name though.

There’s a cover version of Expensive Shit on Tru Thoughts that may not be house/house but it fits into this world to my ears. Flip is great as well.
