I think in the 80s Chicago acid meant raw, jacking, but now it just means it’s got a 303. That’s just my interpretation.

The ‘acid’ sound was the 303 mindbending thing – which made 100% sense to me when I first heard it in a sweaty Zap club. I wonder if that’s a particularly UK interpretation
