Back when he was mayor he showed up to my friend’s violin recital late and completely blotto. He proceeded to noisily trip over everyone in the row as he made his way to his seat. Her parents gave him a piece of their mind at the interval. Awful person.

I worked for Ed Miliband who had absolutely no interest in football but felt he had to pretend he liked it when England were playing. It’s just absurd and treats voters like idiots, but they all do it. Starmer and Brown are genuine football fanatics but even then it always feels so forced (watching a game in work shirt/suit etc)
